Braga Natural - Cidade Mais Verde" (Braga Natural - A Greener City) is a documentary that looks at Braga's evolution into a more environmentally conscious and increasingly sustainable city. The film, narrated by João Kopke, takes viewers on a journey through the history, present and future of this Portuguese city, with the participation of nature photographer João Ferreira, mushroom expert Pedro Capela and environment councillor Altino Bessa. The documentary unveils the mystical side and nature of Braga by exploring historic sites such as Santa Maria Madalena, Sameiro and Bom Jesus, as well as the Cávado and Este rivers. When night falls, João continues to explore and carefully observe the local fauna, which includes toads, owls, foxes, salamanders, newts and other species. The film highlights the balanced interaction between the urban environment and nature by portraying how Braga and its inhabitants are an integral part of an ecosystem, and how it is possible to make a city ever closer to the natural environment.
