I lived in Camarillo and moved out 10 years ago. We were basically driven out. The rental company kept harassing us. We needed to move closer to our parents as they were getting old anyway, I took it as a sign from God.

So strange how it will completely burn one house, and the next is untouched.
@kathleenrogers103 сағат бұрын
It’s the same with earthquakes. After the Northridge quake, our home in Los Feliz was fine, but it was every other street for several blocks had chimneys down, and other damage.

Very common occurrence. Firefighters will let a house burn down completely once it has caught fire in order to prevent other homes from catching a flame. Change of wind direction can start and fan the flames on a tree or house very quickly. Embers are easily carried into the air blocks over skipping houses.

This looks like another case of direct energy weapon being used. This is not a normal fire.

Random disintegrated house slabs are all that’s left after a brushfire? Those trees must be indestructible

Just an fyi...when the wind is blowing, hot embers often cannot catch a tree on fire. Unlike a home or solid structure that has cracks and crevices were a hot ember can get stuck and ignite wood or other substances.

And not only are the trees evolved to resist fire; but live trees have a lot of moisture; the fire goes after dry tinder

The trees and shrubs are full of moisture. Try holding a flame to a tree and see if it burns. The houses burn because embers get sucked into the attics through the vents. Once the attic catches, that's it for the house.

They are high winds a burn twig or something burning can land on the top of the roof and start the fire. At this time of the year every year we had the Santa Ana winds they come from the north, the Sierra Mountains funneling this winds to Southern California at high speeds. Google Santa Ana winds you will get all the information and they spread.

If that is a slight to our president elect, wtf does that have to do with poor fireproofing of certain homes? The ones that did not burn were ones where kindling was not piled up against the house. Please give me an intelligent response
