I did the 79 Z/28 front end graft on a 1975 LT after totaling it. My roommate had totaled the '79 a few month earlier and sold me all the stuff off the Z for 2k.

The 70 to 73's looked the best. My first car was a 74 sd 455 trans am. But, I wish it could have been a 73. My father was firm it had to be a new car.... And 74 was the model year.

@@bluesman7475 Sweet, I bet you wish you still had the 455SD, They are bringing big bucks. My engine came out of a 1972 T/A, there was a UAW strike in 72 and only 1286 T/As were built. I still run the 7f6 heads. Pontiac was the last true muscle car with the 455SD. Love my Pontiac, I have a small channel under my name, you can see my build there, nothing fancy. 👍👍🏁🏁

Thank you, I think the 74-77 look much better front and back although I am impartial to the 74 as I love them most I am a 3rd Gen lover and owner and they are perfection from the factory

I had a 1975 Camaro. I nicknamed it, “Squeaky” because of all of the squeaks and rattles that came from the dashboard. Lol 😂

Love the 70/73 taillights, but personally would have kept the front end stock. Love that aluminum bumper and those round tail lamps.

Wanted to do same to front on my 77 z28 ! With turning 1 full grill upside down then a second 77 grill on top ! Then the split bumper ! Love the Second Gen !

Great Job. Looks nice. Those split bumper 2nd gen will always be my favorite. I found a 70 z28 complete here in town. Been sitting 8 years since I found it. Says he wants 10 k. Little more then I have. So I settled on a 69 gto Convertible. Just about to start project with my son. Nice job on your car. Enjoy the ride.....

She looked good when you got her, why didn't you buy any 70-73 and if she didn't have the split front bumper front end it still would have been easier to get a repro front end as they are available and have been for years . I have my preference which 3rd gens are my love and 2nd gens are my second favorites but I like the 74-77 way more than a 70-73

I don't like the seat I'd do the vinyl and convert it all to black. And lower the rear unless you're gonna push snow with it lol 😆 but the car looks killer

The biggest work is yet to come; get rid of that wraparound rear window . I still can't believe almost 50 years later how the GM designers were able to spoil the finesse of the original almost Ferrari design with this glass which tries to emulate the 911 targa look.
