I just replaced the starter in my 2016 with the updated gm starter cranks way fast It took me almost 5 hours tho to replace it. And had all the ground mods done before also now a removed them and all is happy

Did this work 7 months later? I’m on my 4th starter in 3.5 years and not trying to buy another… no aftermarket headers. Just a mag supercharger and CAI

After mine runs for awhile it hesitates to start and makes knocking noises when I turn it off after driving for a bit, but not an engine knock

OK wait....that was about clear as mud....so you replaced the GM/AC Delco starter with a Ford starter that uses a remote solenoid?

Could’ve took the Cat and the O2 sensor out. 4 bolts and a O2 tool…

So i did everything in the video and my car won’t start.

@@AFatherToTheFatherless it actually is funny cause then I realized his was automatic and mine is a stick car. So it wasn’t gonna work anyway. Turns out I had a bad factory ground wire after ohm testing damn near every wire associated with the starter and battery

@@AFatherToTheFatherless so my issue was the wire on negative cable was somehow pinched I replaced it with a bigger wire.
