Riding a train in Cambodia is very fun. I used to do it more than 20 years ago. Back then the train was not as good as the train now. Enjoy your time there

Was a experience of a lifetime, overall other than hot it was enjoyable and to see the real cambodia going through the little villages and seeing how locals really live was something else. Thanks for feedback.

Wow 😮😮 what can I say I think u both are amazing, I would not be able to survive on the train without aircon for 9 hours You both need a medal

Hot but was sooo worth it, When you look back , Brings great memories and the Heat is soon forgotten. Loved every minute except the heat. Haha Thanks for the feedback.

What a great experience, you guys are so adventurous. We are a little spoiled and like a bit more luxury like air con and rooms without gaps, lol, Many years in Thailand I managed a month on a remote island near Krabi without any luxuries, even the beer was warm.
@BecMattAdventures5 күн бұрын
We are very spoiled and these people do it day in day out , But wow what a experience and the people we meet, What a adventure. Our beers was cold so we can not complain compared to what you had. The home stay was a highlight even though no luxury but great experience. Thanks for feedback

during the war 1980 to 1992. we didn''t have good roads so I used to travel by train and the train was always striked with RPG by khmer Rouge.

In some areas, there were some mines hiding under the rail as well during the war time.

Thank you for your kind words. Sadly not, That's for another adventure we will head to SR. Have a great trip and you never know where we can pop up. Thanks for Feedback. More likely to run into us in Bali as this trip we are on the move.
Thailand is very good too, Same same but different, Both lovely but Cambodia has had a chequered past and the people are resilient for what they have endured over the years. Thanks for feedback. khop khun

don't so mean. we know Thailand is richer. but in Cambodia you can feel good to be alive because population and environment is good for living. there no so much competition just to live.

Now you appreciate more of what you have back home. It's not about Cambodia can't build it's about the money 💰

100% correct, One appreciation when you travel is seeing different cultures and less they have but still happy. Gives you good appreciation of what we do have. Thanks for feedback.

How long did you stay Bec? I’m tippin it fitted nicely into Mat’s price range 😂😂😂
@BecMattAdventures5 күн бұрын
Haha your correct Gavan, It was only 1 night as we were moving along. It's right up Matt's price, Saying that i would not swap the experience for anything and it's something we will never forget. It's music to Matt's ear with that price and experience he had, Saro and people we meet along the way always had a smile and those kids at end had never seen a drone and were memorized by it. A great experience and sometimes you don't need to pay a lot to experience it. A great trip. Thanks for feedback.
@gavanburge15775 күн бұрын
@ Totally agree about the experience really teaches us to appreciate the small things in life and what we have. Seeing the smiles on all their faces is worth a million bucks. Enjoy the rest of your travels,stay safe 👌👍

Be careful, don't put your hands or arms out of the windows!! You might not luck back into piece!! Anyhow, that train was donated from Thailand to Cambodia
@BecMattAdventures3 күн бұрын
Yes we were very careful, it was single track and we only leaned out when we were in open field. Ahh yes that's great to hear that Thailand donated the trains, as that what we heard. Thanks for feedback and what a great experience.

the train is slow. that not the problem. also it from Japan

you have a long way to go in terms of how to make youtube travel vlogs that are interesting and engaging rather than boring and amateurish, i wish you luck with that.
@BecMattAdventures3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the tips! Yes we are very amateurish and still learning. Hopefully we can improve bit by bit. Will try and keep getting better. Thanks for feedback.

Haha it was just a long day Dean, The heat got to me but i can say it was such a great experience, We camped alot in Oz and had alot rougher bathrooms in our travels, The western toilet was a win for me haha. Something both myself and Matt will never forget and the people we meet that had very little but were so welcoming. That makes it. Thanks for feedback.

Cambodia people are more friendly than Western people. You would less like get robe in Cambodia than London or New York city.
