Quite enjoyable - could have used much more given all the time you spent there. -- My interest however is for a "retirement destination" - and Siem Reap is most attractive to me for that purpose. > Long term rentals and wise decisions for living there & not in "tourist mode" - single expats are able to retire there fairly comfortably on about $800/mo. in basic recurring expenses - most months. --?-- Highly favorable and to my liking ! -- As of now - the other compelling destination for me - is the Philippines where the same financial capability can be had. --?-- Just wanted to share in case any are interested.

Most everyone we talked to spoke English enough to have a conversation. We didn't really have any issues with communication.
