The Cambodia Trust Aotearoa New Zealand is delighted to have received a most wonderful donation of $2,000 from Jocelyn and Bryan Butcher of Wellington. Over the years they have been great supporters of CTANZ, regularly attending fundraising events, and making on-going donations.
A small group of trustees visited their home to personally express their appreciation. We hope that in the near future they may consider becoming our patrons, as suggested by our chairman, Mr Sokun Chiev.

Trustees announce the latest news about successful fundraising events- a dinner held at The Grand Century Restaurant in Wellington at the beginning of June 2013. 250 people attended the party and about $5,600 was raised from ticket sales, the sale of Cambodian goods, auctions and donations. The Trustees would like to thank the Wellington Cambodian community for their ongoing support, the owners of the Grand Century Restaurant and those that supported the event on the night.
The Trustees would like to thank former Trustees for their work and would like to pay tribute to several Trustees; Niborom Young and Russell Marshall, two of the original Trustees of The Cambodia Trust Aotearoa New Zealand who foundered the Trust in 1994, who attended the dinner. Other former Trustees who attended were Vanrin Hang Phan, Mrs Heang Thou, Farib Sos and Kay Poletti.
To highlight the work of CTANZ in Cambodia, a documentary film about the work of the Cambodia Trust, directed by Martijn van Beenen was shown. For a copy of the film on DVD, please visit www.cambodiatrust.com.
