Your recipe was really good and it made a huge amount compared to buying it from the grocery store. Do you have any recommendations of some dishes to make for a group of 8-12 people that isn't too expensive excluding hot pot and noodle soup?

I saw another video where someone used a food processor to blend in the ingredients. But she said it would take awhile for it to form into a paste. Of course never saying how long it would take. My first attempt trying & i thought a blender wouldn't make a difference. Well, it pretty much turned into a shake & that's it. I did it for a good 5 mins, it seems, &the blender started turning hot. I had to stick it in the freezer for a bit & add a little more cold fish, for it to firm up some. I didn't want to waste the food. I figured I had to eat it even if it wasn't what I had imagined. Next time, I'm just using my hands 😤. It can't possibly turn into mush that way. I'm not trying to spend the entire day in the kitchen either. But she also said to use any kind of fish. But had recommended something w/a softer texture for an easier mix. I had Arrowhead flounder in my freezer. Which I'm not fond of. But I thought it'd taste different as a fishcake. 😤 That just added more mushiness to it. I need to stick to tilapia, even if other ppl recommend mackeral. But no wonder why that fish was cheap. I bet nobody likes Arrowhead flounder. I just want my fish to taste a little more firm than that is all. Guess I'll have better luck next time.
