There are four different task types: an article, a letter, a report and a review. However, as the letter can be formal or informal, we technically have five tasks to prepare for.

If the readers are a general audience, is the high level CPE vocabulary still necessary? Like at that time does Cambridge judge you on your flexibility and the ability to cater to the reader level? Or you gotta use complicated words whatever the situation and context is?

The reader is never a general audience. It is always a group or person with specific expectations or interests, so yes, you need to show flexibility and use appropriate vocabulary in every writing task.

My mostly analytical and rational mind says to me that I'd better go for a report or proposal jajaja. If I am to turn myself into a storyteller overflowing with prosaic creativity and prose, let's call it quits 😅

It could really be anything. Cambridge gets creative when it comes to choice of topic so, unfortunately, I can't help you with this.

hello, i have a question, how much did you score doing that in the c2 exam? in the end, that approach worked? im using c2 examples from cambridge books to guide my study to ensure i meet what they want from me but i dont know if a reasonable approach like this will be enough for them, does this appear in books published by them?, thanks!

I didn't use this text in an official exam so I can't tell you what score it would get. I am just a teacher trying to show you a good way of writing an article. I'm sure there are other great resources available, like the Cambridge books you are using. I'm not sure if I understand your question. Life is the opposite of death if that's what you would like to know.

@@unchicobasado7053 I think people often say something like "Life is too short to do the things you don't love doing" which means that people shouldn't waste their time and therefore life. So when he says that life isn't too short he basically says the opposite of this popular sentence. I think it's a great way to end an article.
