thank you that has to be the best gaming video i have watched. you obviously know more than him but helped him play the game his way and kept him engaged and on tract while you still taught him tips at the same time without being patronising. one day maybe there will be a Cameron jay & ray base build sanctuary. not all payers just want to blow others brains out & loot. but the best bit was he was collecting all the chickens you were hunting. almost like you were supposed to join up for the experience

Minor point, but in the first ~15 minutes of the video when you were looking for a knife you passed over a hammer which you could have used to hit a rock for a stone knife. You can do that with pretty much any blunt tool if you can't find a knife early game. That let's you get your first sharp edge so you can get fishing hooks & rope from your first chicken/player kill and let's you sustain yourself pretty indefinitely after that.

One can use a crescent wrench to break a small stone off a large rock, from which you can craft a stone knife. I a guessing the tire iron will also work to break a small stone from the larger rock.

I have 150 hours in this game and I still have yet to meet anyone friendly at spawn. I legit spent two days dying at spawns trying to find one person to come adventure with me im so lonely lone wolfing this game lol. Where are all the friendly players lol I come in saying hello all this nice stuff and im always KOS. I know it's apart of the game but it's making it harder to come back and this game is awesome =(
