The UNIVERSAL & SONY systems specifically which was the 2 biggest who ran everything wouldn’t do any deal with BMF entertainment. Meech had the $ to do a 50/50 deal & had his own promo budgets even if Bleu wasn’t the best artist it could’ve worked. Label put up 500k Meech put up 500k & work the streets & clubs. They would’ve hit & Bleu would’ve been similar to a Memphis Bleek type artist in comparison.
