This was my neighbourhood when I lived in London. You can also take the 24 bus from the West End directly to the proper Camden Lock Market (not Buck St or Inverness St), and see a lot more along the route. I used to drive the 24 bus back in the 1980s and crews were always frustrated by the delays to the schedule caused by the busy market at weekends. Buck St is more down market clothing, and Inverness St used to be a grocery market. Camden always was a busy place especially at weekends, but is much more so now.

We went yesterday and yes, it was awesome. Took at least three hours to go through. The food was awesome. Bought a whole bunch of nice things. We went to Buroughs Market on Monday and it only took half hour to go through and we had to waste the day there.

Born in London to irish parents who lived and worked there in the 60's, we lived in Camden. They took us "home" in '83 when l was 5, never actually been back to London. Expensive to get back now as we have 4 kiddies to travel with. Bucket list though.

hey cool, I just uploaded my own Camden market video - I'm not really keen on crowds so I went there early on a Monday morning, and the shops were all still closed or just opening up. It was relatively quiet and peaceful so I was able to just walk around with complete impunity and vlog wherever I wanted. Unfortunately I had to meet someone in another part of town so I had to leave before I could get a chance to enjoy a meal or otherwise explore the place more, but I was able to buy some nice things, a Camden Town magnet, a beautiful watch and a bowler hat which was originally £20 but being an American I haggled and was able to get it for £19 - is haggling a thing in Camden Market? I wasn't sure

And how much does it cost to come to the market via the boat? Is the market actually good or will i go there only to be disappointed?

I think the market is certainly a neat attraction.. whether you'll be disappointed in whether there are good clothes to buy I'm not sure. Depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for Rave Party Gear you'll definitely be in luck :)

talk shit lol i lived in camden for ten years up in the tower blocks on adelaide road, i remember hearing about a murder down there at the canal but to think the body is still there is a bit dottled the catacombs you talk of were just safe walkways for horses to move between the roundhouse etc and the canal when it was getting made
