Again, great vid, CharlieBo313. I have no comments on the city itself, except to say that I find it architecturally interesting how the homes are built so close to the sidewalks. So similar to European styles, which makes sense as the Eastern seaboard area was originally settled by Europeans. That's the way their cities/homes are. The farther west you go, the less you see that type of building and start to see more homes with set-backs farther from the streets. I always enjoy your videos, and thank you for publishing them! I really enjoy the fact that you don't narrate them, it gives me a chance to concentrate on the visual experience. They speak for themselves.

@Basil Ramel Try they might, but even decent, good folks get caught up in the way things are in Camden. And everyone is looked at differently by others that don't live there & have the means to be able to leave. When you see that place, you automatically feel for them. I know that feeling of pity, to the point of wanting to back socialism, which is against my political beliefs. But Camden will make you encounter a flood, an onslaught of feelings for those that live there...if you care for people to begin with (let's face it- if you care for folks & know they are suffering, dodging bullets for having went out for something to eat, drink, a loaf of bread... whatever), Camden just makes you wonder how the good folks do it on a daily basis. Sad part is, Camden isn't alone in this- but a sample of failed cities across the U.S. ... Many times did we fear leaving my mother in law's and wondering if things would be somehow different when we returned the next time, in terms of them still being healthy or of them having been mugged & shot... and my mother in law never wanted to leave. It was where she grew up and became disaffected by all that was around her. Funny enough, even though everyone in our family is now out of Camden, we still think about it...we feel for all the good friends & neighbors that are still there... In fact, as I sit here out of work because I now have chemo & radiation to deal with (stage 3 colo-rectal cancer), I am still haunted by the good folks that call Camden their home, and only want better for them. My brother says they should make the Battleship New Jersey operable again, (BB-62, battleship New Jersey has a home on the Delaware River, in Camden- it's now a floating museum...)clear the residents & turn those guns on the town... Yeah, Camden's bad- he's not the 1st or last to say that, but it illustrates how bad the city is. Sadly. 🤔

Camden/Detroit/Baltimore. Can probably throw some parts of St. Louis and Philly in there as well. I don’t think Chicago looks as bad as those though the crime is rampant.

I lived about 10 miles from there, what a piece of shit place. Humans can't really live like that. Nobody will even risk investment, only the government with our money. They have an aquarium, outside concert hall, 50 dollars to park and a closed baseball stadium. If you want drugs, get robbed or life threatened it's the place to place to go.

Taking a lot of back roads. I like how you turn the camera away from the nice homes. Not all of Camden is run down.
