This is great content! I'm studying CAME right now and even though the course structure has changed a lot, as has the content of some of the courses, I still found your content quite helpful. Viele Grüße!

Hello Vikrant and Jana so as u said CAME is more related to CFD FEM Structural analysis so are there any courses in masters that are related to to the core design softwares like solidworks catia pro e.

Vikrant! Hi! Hello. I hope you’ll see this. This isn’t related to the video above (haven’t seen it yet, but will) but, I’m doing mechanical engineering and I’m in my second year. I’m in New Zealand and want to get an internship at VW. I saw your other video on working at VW, and it sounds like something I would rally like to do. However, when you say you were doing R&D, what exactly does that consist of? I know for privacy reasons you can’t say EXACTLY what you were doing, but could you please give a hypothetical example? Apologies for the long question 😁 thank you for any response you give! (PS, if you’re schedule allows, you should consider doing a video on this topic ;) )

Joshua, sorry it took time to reply, I've been traveling a lot! My work was on research of experimental simulations of new production techniques for faster/easier simulation of CFRP. That's the broad sense of it...

Please make a video on MSc. Metallurgical engineering in RWTH. No one made a video on that feild. Just want to know study structure, fees, internship, Phd and job prospect after the masters.

It’s hard to find someone to make a video. I’ll definitely make one if someone is ready to. Or maybe you can find someone to help others.

At 2:03 she said "you can do your masters without doing your bachelors"? Can we do masters without having a bachelors degree?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Lord YasH I meant, you don't need to do both Bachelor's and Masters in GERMANY. Only having a Masters from Germany is enough to highly increase your chances for a job there. You absolutely need a Bachelor's degree to get your Master's degree.

How much would an experience of 2.5 yrs help in getting internships? I have that much of experience in the R&D Body Design Department in an Automotive Company and currently working on my German - B1 Level. Thanks in advance.
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the field. If it's related to what you search an internship in, then it definitely won't be a problem.

Hi! Great video! I wanted to ask regarding the fee structure, as you said the course cannot be completed in 2 years, so do we need to pay the tuition fees for every extra semester ( 4500 euros), or only the total course fees of 18000 €
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! For every additional semester, you pay a tuition fee of 500 euros per semester.
@abhijeetbaliga51986 жыл бұрын
Hi! Are there tuition fees for the course in RWTH Aachen which you have mentioned ? I've heard that most courses in germany have 0 tuition fee, however on the DAAD website it says 4000-5000 euros per sem. Is this true?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
abhijeet baliga Disregard whatever you have heard, and only trust what your eyes can see :) Each course states their tuition fees on their website. Some are tuition free, while others - like our course CAME - are not. Our course cost 3900 euros per semester when we were studying. I think the price has increased but for more specific information, please refer to the RWTH Aachen website.

I looked the cfd exersices on your blog. Do you have to learn all these things by your own? or you learn all these things at class or at exersices classes.
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
While you're going to be taught the solutions in the exercise class, CFD is a subject that you'll mostly have to learn on your own. You'll have a lot of notes and a lot of text, but understanding each small line is going to take hours - at least it did for most of us.

Hi Vik & Jana. I have 68% aggregate in BE. I have 3 years of experience in design of material handling equipment. SAE Baja & all. What are my chnaces to get an admit?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany4 жыл бұрын
The work experience is a big plus, but this is a very competitive course so people with very high CGPAs apply, so it would be very difficult to say how big are your chances. We have some interviews with the admission committee where we discuss these things, please check them out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ-coGmkq9uCedU kzbin.info/www/bejne/opbMfGRmjs5gi9U

Hello Vikrant. After completing the CAME course is it possible to divert your career towards that of a computational engineer (capable of writing numerical codes) rather than an engineer who is the end user of FEA packages?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Shriram K Yes and no. If that's your end goal, you might do better checking out the Simulation Sciences course.

Hi I want to know how difficult is numerical methods in Mechanical Engineering? Is it too hard to approve this asignature?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Jose Adrian Tuarez No, it's not that difficult. In fact, most of us had very good grades in that subject.

Can we study two different majors in engineering or one is engineering other is philosopy etc. in Bsc?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
For B.Sc, you'll need to learn German language very well. But if you have the language skills, you can take whatever classes you want to, and can hence take a big spectrum of courses. Exact details depend on the University and the department.

Thanks a lot for that information guys. I have an admit and will be joining 19/20 WS. Any prerequisites you think would be of help before flying? Like for eg. Advanced Software Engineering will need some basic knowledge of C,C++ (which I don't have). I didn't have the CFD option in my engineering studies so should I be having some basic knowledge in that course. And many subjects like that. Expecting a positive response.

@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany5 жыл бұрын
Once you take the exams from the Conception track, you are automatically counted as a Conception major. Don't worry about it, INTAC will explain everything on detail once you reach Germany and before you start with your courses.

Hi I liked your video. I want to ask you the following: What is the most hard part of CAME? How difficult is to finish CAME in 2 years? How many subjects are recommended to take each semester? Kind Regards
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Jose Adrian Tuarez It's quite difficult to finish CAME in two years, and that's mostly due to the time it requires to find and finish your internship and Master Thesis. It's advisable to complete at least 5 subjects per semester, more if you can. As for the hardest part, that's quite relative to each person. I'll give you our Quora answers to read on that subject: www.quora.com/How-hard-is-CAME-RWTH/answer/Jana-Stalevska-1?share=c0f14995&srid=gyQL www.quora.com/How-hard-is-CAME-RWTH/answer/Vikrant-Srivastava?share=aa3eac13&srid=gyQL
