Very useful info thanx. Can u please show how to use them on paper since I'm doing madhubani on paper and find difficulty in dilution
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 3 жыл бұрын
Sure will do one...and I will add this to my list of upcoming videos.. Tube paints are thicker - so you need to add little bit of water to make it workable for madhubani...

Do they give off any odour unexpectedly? How do they differ with brands like Liquitex soft body in terms of pigment quality and blending?
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 3 жыл бұрын
I have used them long enough - they don't give any odour...liquitex, w&n, golden, pebeo all have different level of softness to the paints. Definitely there is difference in the drying time and thus the blending time. As I work pretty fast, I don't find any problem. If you are switching over from oils, you will feel this to be too quick. Apart from that, quality, colour mixing and blending of colours is good.

These paints are the Best! I use 120ml artist grade. (It's better to have 500ml titanium white)
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 3 жыл бұрын
Yes they are good paints👍...And I don't recommend 500 ml jars for beginners! Might not be required initially 😃

can we use it in water colour painting to
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely you can use. However do remember acrylics form permanent layers, and you cannot reactivate colours like normal water colours. So you need to change your techniques accordingly.

What is the cost of each tube.
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the colour and the tube size. 120ml tube costs around INR 220-270. 40ml costs around 100-150. Ofcourse there are also 9ml/20ml/40ml sets available in varying price range.

Is it flamable Or inflammable ???
@MadhulaCreations
@MadhulaCreations 4 жыл бұрын
First of all, acrylic paints are water based - so they don't catch fire that easily. And just by hanging the painting in sunlight or near a fireplace, it is not flammable. That being said, anything can be burnt down fully with a temperature threshold. So if enough heat/fire is applied externally, offcourse you can burn it down!

There are so many professional artist working with camel paints and they do have fabulous outcomes! Another important point is that these are easily available in India! I too didn't find any major problems with these paints and I have also worked with other paint brands including golden, pebeo, liquitex, w&n...each one have their own pros and cons. Did you use the camel artist tube paints? What did not work for you when you were working with them paints? Throw some light, will see if I can help!
