Camel Beach, Kos, Greece:
Camel beach is located 36 km southwest of Kos Town and 6 km to Kefalos, near Paradise Beach on the Greek island of Kos. It is a fine sandy beach with pebbles and clean water.
The beach is indicated by a large sign announcing "Camel Beach." From there you drive down a steep sand road that brings you to the beach. At the highest point of the road there is a restaurant, and on the beach, there is a beach tent where you can order something fresh to drink or have a snack.
It is well-organized offering all the needed facilities, even a water sports center. Beach umbrellas and sun loungers are available on the beach. There are few accommodation options around this beach, which is less busy that other coasts in the region. There, it is mostly a place to relax among an impressive rocky surrounding.
