Camel Creek vs Flambards

I went Flambards a lot as a kid, and I've taken my own children to camel creek recently. Personally, I think camel creek is better. When we went, only airbender wasn't working, and everything else was fine. The wait in the lines wasn't bad either, and we went during the summer holidays; so super busy. We went twice, as they did a free return within a week. My child spent one whole day at half the park, and the 2nd time we went, she spent the entire day in the other half. Should point out, that my child is 5yo. I think older kids would prefer flambards, but I did see a lot of teens and adults enjoying camel creek.

Camel Creek is definitely the nicer park to be in. It has so much more green space! When I went the queues were not too bad either - I never had to wait more than 10 mins for anything. I agree that for children Camel Creek is the better park, as there are more rides for them to do in a nicer environment!

I prefer Flambards and I have also been there more times because it's nearer to me ( practically on my doorstep ). Camel Creek was originally Shires adventure park, I have only been to it as Shires 3 or 4 times ( at least once with my familty and twice with after school club in holiday time ) but I only went to it once when it was Crealy in 2007 with college as an end of term treat but I didn't like it very much ( for personal reasons which I don't wish to bring up here ). But since it became Camel Creek it does look better now but if your in the South West it makes more sense to go to Flambards as it's the nearest. Flambards is also cheaper than Camel Creek so that is another thing to bear in mind.

I totally agree! Camel Creek is really pricey and Flambards has way more to do for the price with better rides and more attractions (like the exhibitions). Although I did find Camel Creek slightly more pleasant to be in as there were more green spaces.

I agree Alton Towers for me too is the best theme park in the UK! Flambards is still good though and the indoor attractions are great!

Camel creek was Cornwall's Crealy when I went years ago I remember it being alright don't know what it's like now though cause I haven't been since

I think it is quite a pleasant, small park and recently they have been changing some things such as the moving of the log flume and slides. Though it is definitely more focused on younger people compared to Flambards that has more of a mix of rides.

I’m sure the ride wouldn’t run if it was a big risk though I can definitely see why it could be uncomfortable for younger kids, especially in the rain. The restraints and seats are very different compared to most other coasters!

Yeah I was unlucky with the timing of this video! Though I still think a ride on the Hornet at Flambards is better than riding all 4 of the ones at Camel Creek.

I’m sorry to hear that everything was shut, when I went some indoor attractions were closed such as space race, but the outdoor stuff fortunately was open for me. Maybe it’s the weather that can effect the amount of rides that are operating at Flambards.

Some of the indoor rides I think are closed due to Social distancing I checked that on the website for space race.
