Hey, I was given a brand new injora 313 2 speed chassis that I am planning on building, I've always wanted to get the TRX4 with the Defender body but since I have the Injora chassis, I figured I can just buy this body for it and save some money on top. I already have a receiver and transmitter so I just need to get the motor, esc and steering servo. I do like the fact that all doors/panels can be opened on the injora version.

Thanks for connector type. Been wanting to know to do same thing you are. I noticed 3 volts from light kit is not enough for bright scene lights. Been contemplating a buck converter to run 6 volts to 3mm CCHand scene lights

Great job modding the Pro scale light kit. I have been looking for more info on this kit as I don't like the fact that the head light cluster is wrong - indicators should be on the bottom, and I didnt know if you could put your own LEDs in. Nice work!

You can use your own head lights 5mm head lamps and 3mm for the side lights, rear lights and indicators

@@RcNeil Thanks very much - so you bought the Defender light kit 8095 (to get all the right plugs) and then took the Traxxas light buckets off? Sorry for all the questions - I want the headlights, tail break and reverse lights, but I don't really want to buy the 8095 light kit as its quite expensive and I won't use the rock lights or light bar.

@@avipatable no I only bought the Traxxas TRX-4 Pro Scale Lighting System and use my one leds, you will buy some DuPont ends and the Bluetooth module for the radio to control lights from the app

Great Video, very helpfull for someone looking at first hard shell for TRX4. What LED,s did you use for the mod. are they standard 5 volt to work with the trx4 lighting kit ?

Does the Injora Hardbody fit on the trx4 defender chasse?

It’s a perfect fit, check out the running videos you will see how it sits perfectly, ps it’s very heavy so excellent for training bad for hardcore crawling

Nice video. But how did you fix the headlights into the body? Did you glue them in? Which is very difficult because you don’t have enough surface. Or screw them in? Same problem.

I use hot glue, but the kit comes with light buckets also but do use hot glue as they can still pop out

@@RcNeil Thanks, but I found a solution. I screwed the hole unit (light buckets) in, so I can dismantle them easy if I have to. Btw, where did you get the roof access ladder from?

I probably wouldn't have bothered cutting the fenders.

You will have to cut the fenders for a snug fit to prevent water from entering the interior
