Julie, I recently found you on KZbin and swear you're a long lost "old" friend from across the pond! I enjoy you, your humor, your crafts, your running commentary, Gertrude, etc. I especially enjoyed your Alice in Wonderland journal, as my name is Alice. My parents already had my 2 older sisters when I came along and they were sure I'd be a boy, so they didn't have a girls' name picked out. That was back in 1952. I just bought one of these Tim Holtz folios so I could look at the design and figure it out, but voila'! you did it for me, Julie ~ Thank you 🌷💕 I love to watch you decorate, Julie... so many treasures❗My desk has the same design flaw... it shrinks before my very eyes... what the heck! 😂 I'm wondering if you saw my page border video (part of an Advent Calendar challenge) that I did Miss E's side tuck cluster... I did refer to her channel and video that I was inspired by... loved that vid 👍💕 Our deliveries here in the US are strangely slow, both with through the US postal service and UPS as well... It’s wonderful, Julie!! Really fun & I love the papers you chose for the inside. They made a terrific base for everything else! I also think that putting those little stamps along the folds was an idea I need to remember. Very clever! I didn’t craft alongside you because my rolling carts were delivered 2 days EARLY by Amazon! Crazy, nothing’s ever early & mostly late! You just did me a hige favour. i realised that nowhere had i actually put the actual finished size😐😅 so just for you here are all the measurements Mrs😊🤗💜 Dimensions Finished size of Folio 6 x 4 1/2 inches Cut one piece to 6 x 8 1/4 Then Score at 1/2 and 4 1/2 inches Cut anoter piece 6 x 11 Then Score at 2, 5 1/2, 6 and 10 1/2 inches You will also need a piece of card measuring 4 x 4 1/4 inches If you're using letter size or 12 x 12 cardstock you will be left with a scrap large enough. If using A4 you will need a separate sheet to cut this from.

Is there anything I should know before I do it? ❤😊xx

Happy new year Kim🤗 What a fabulous daughter you have lucky lady😊 Well i find sewing on card and paper easier to be honest as i find sewing a straight line easier that with fabric, or not now i use the button stop start 😘 Same as with my last machine i just use the needle it came with and let rip. I don't use any cheap unbranded cotton, but the brand i use it coats moon and very inexpensive anyway. Just be sure to use a long enough stitch so that your holes arent too close together which risks perforating the card. Oh and make sure you clean it more often as card and paper create more fluffy bits. hope that helps love, have fun with your new toy😊🤗💜
