I think it's because your brain starts to understand and learn the certain melodies and rhythms, (like DnB rhythm variations, as well as J-Style progressions) and as a result your brain can decipher the music at a faster rate. Each frequency, every instrument. You might listen to one of Camellia's songs and notice "Wait, I never noticed that layered snare, that slight treble from the bells in the background, that atmospheric pad, that riser." "Oh, that piano plays throughout the entire song?". You start noticing and appreciating just how much effort and emotion, as well as skill was poured into the track. As you listen to faster, more complex and detailed music, mainstream music is almost unbearable. "How can people listen to 120bpm??" Yet when you show someone a camellia song: "That gives me a headache, turn it off". This is why I think the more I listen the more addicted I become to his music.

Notes from the CD booklet (translated): Genre: Symphonic Neurofunk / Neurocore BPM: 189 This is a song featuring hololive English’s Ninomae Ina’nis as the vocalist! While I have previously produced songs for the unit that Ina’nis is a part of (which I also encourage you to check out), this time I had the opportunity to invite her to collaborate on a solo vocal track. Thank you, Ina-san! “Drenched in Air” means “drowning in air,” symbolically portraying a mermaid chased away from her home by humans. I also struggled with the direction for the title track of my album, a dark CD with the theme of ‘ashes.’ Driven by the motivation to showcase both of our characters, I decided to combine Neurofunk/Basscore elements with symphonic arrangements. I believe that Ina’nis’ singing voice, combined with a slightly more impactful and deep resonance, resulted in a beautifully resonating outcome. Please enjoy.

Actually It's all thanks to Ina. She pushed the hololive management to reach out to Camellia because she loved his music. The result is Holomyth Image Soundtrack and now - a separate track featuring Ina's vocals. Hopefully, it'll lead to some JP collabs as well
