3:14 That detective looking fella is LeVar Burton. Bit of trivia there for ya. Oh and, I've been listening to this song since my mom introduced it to me back in the 90's. Born in 1990, I'm so incredibly grateful for all the god-tier music that I had the good fortune to be brought up with. Listening to the dog shit that passes for "hits" these days is tragic. Wet farts, nothing more. You hear it once and forget it the next second. I had the best childhood. Thanks Cameo, and all the other amazing artists!

Unbelievably good. People spend their careers not coming up with something this hot IMO. I love this whole synth funk era. Prince, Clinton, Herbie Hancock, etc. And what do we have for dance music now? Well maybe the kids love it, but I was at a club a few weeks ago and the music was utter crap. Auto tune, tasteless music ( not a prude, but talking about having sex with whores is pretty damn sexist.) Horrid beats. Souless

The tune does remind me of one or two late 60s favourites,such as Stevie Wonder's I Was Made to Love Her,somehow,and the whistling synth motif evokes Spaghetti Westerns to me thanks to the late Ennio Moricone,but it's still awesome.

Deadly levels of funk in this song for sure. Funk that slams you so hard in the gut if it don't make you jump up and dance? Check your pulse you might already be dead baby. If Cameo never had another hit? This grand slam out of the park into the next galaxy home run would be a perfect legacy to leave behind. Get the funk inna your face baby. "All you super DJs who think you're fly."
@roro_fosho4 ай бұрын
what's crazy is this track is so dope but it's not even a drop in the bucket when it comes to how much juice there is in their extended catalogue. One of the best funk groups. If anyone reading this doesn't know 'Back And Forth', go listen to that right now.
