I would use blender over Maya any day. I’ve used Maya but love blender so much better. It’s free, it’s easier to use and you don’t need plugins for rendering and so on. I’m guessing you never used Blender. Most people that used Maya that tried blender switched to blender.

yeah just eyeball it. or you can go further after the solve and set "ground plane" as well as "X" "y" axis.
