Can't get sick of this song... been listening to it for 10 years straight! 💙

My friend showed me Camera obscure some 7 years ago. He always gave me the right medicine when I needed it most. He died just before Christmas, 2019 at the age of 26, of a heroine overdose, one of the most talented mother fuckers I knew, he inspired the shit out of me. Now all this music has taken on some deeply painful meaning for me, the more pain, the more beauty. It hurts so fucking much. eat your heart out Bowie. R.i.p. Devin Alvarez. Miss you man. 🖤

Every time I hear this I could SWEAR that it must've been a hit on the country charts back in the late 60's, the instruments, the little riffs and bits of percussion that just nail it!!! From the video I'm assuming that was what they were aiming for, but it says a lot about this bands knowledge of musical influences and styles, they are true students of musical history.

Aren't those mock '60's t.v. show appearances great? And don't even get me started on how wonderful this song is !

I've seen them live thrice, and this is probably my favorite song to hear live. I think it's that trumpet coming in.

Now that I hear it, it reminds me of an old Love (re. Arthur Lee's band) song. Alone again or?

yeah, just a perfect song. I put it on repeat and STILL don't want it to end. Good to be with you all this morning, if only to say, you know, chin up and all that. We'll get through this nonsense, and CO will be a part of that, for me a least. Anyway, thanks for stopping by / stay classy, planet Earth. Love you all so much sometimes it hurts

camera obscura songs are so very replayable & nearly impossible to stop when you get one like this repeating & then you have to remind yourself how good they all are & let one go for a while to give another a turn

Doesn't this sound a bit like George Harrisons "My Sweet Lord"? And therefore like The Chiffons.
