Cameron and Lauren said I love you early. Also remember they talk to these ppl over two weeks. The editing is off is because while he proposed in episode 1, it could’ve literally been the last couple of days. Because you still see him in the men’s quarters after the proposal

30:18 from what I understand even though Steven said I love you and proposed on what appears to us to be day 3-5, he likely proposed at the end of the experiment on day 10 or whenever all the guys propose. I think production splits it up like that so we can focus on a few stories at a time and not have one episode full of proposals. The guys can propose whenever they want but it seems a lot of them wait until the last day, which makes sense. Maybe it is early for I love yous but I feel like all seasons have had most of the couples saying I love you before or at the proposal before meeting face to face. It wouldn’t work for me, but these people are different. From what I recall we’ve only had a few couples that didn’t say it in the pods.

I really liked the discussion of having children here, even aside from the show. I dont think I've ever heard a man say they don't get attached to the idea of having a child becaise thats not within their control. Most men tend to think if they want a kid, they'll have one.
