Great interview, I appreciate you asking her all of the questions us Southern Charm fans were super curious about! I'm definitely disappointed to hear she won't be returning but I don't blame her at all. She's clearly doing well for herself and has her priorities straight but it's not the same without her. And she hit the nail on the head about how some people on these shows are putting on a performance and just trying to "deliver" to stay relevant, I admire her authenticity and her grounded perspective.

@@leslievelez6466 And Leva helped keep it going when Craig went and blabbed it to her and Leva made it a a show topic by confronting Kathryn publicly when it could been done privately and of course you know Craig had to tell Shep on tv of course.Which probably why Leva hasn't heard from Cameron cause if you are friends you would nip that in the bud and not rehash it publicly with anyone whereas Kathryn was not Camerons friend due to the fact Cameron rejected her from the beginning which upset other cast members.

@Strange Days I wasn't hating on her just stating her fact of what I watched. If Cameron is Leva's friend then she should not have blabbed and made "the rumor" public on tv for all of Charleston to hear and the world. She could have taken her aside privately and said what she said. Of course I feel its like Cameron said..its a story line for drama for the show. And Leva admitted that Kathryn did not start the rumor on the reunion show. That rumor has been out there over a year now. Besides people are not perfect. Cameron always sided with the guys on the show no matter how terrible any of them behaved but she trashed Kathryn all the time and snubbed her when she was not worse than the guys. Then Cameron tried to clean it up at the last reunion at the last show she was on an cry and apologize to Kathryn about how terrible she treated her. As for hating --stating ones opinion is not hating on anyone when its fact. Leva is the one who created the controversy and hating for the show which I could have done without especially this year with this covid going on so long.

@Strange Days Yes I know Kathryn was the one to bring it up on national tv when she repeated the rumor to Craig who ran and told Leva but as I explained earlier but the point I am trying to make is that Kathryn had a bone to pick with Cameron being she resented Cameron for the way she treated her all those years on Southern charm and they showed video's of Cameron being mean and snubbing Kathryn even when the cast tried to get Cameron not to do that which she would not. This is my point-- Leva said she and Cameron were friends Since Craig and Leva are friends of Cameron They should not have added to the national tv and world what Kathryn did. But no they had to let it be known on tv for all of Charleston and world to see and hear what Kathryn said instead of nipping in the bud with theireself which means that stops here with me. Confront Kathryn privately not on national tv cause now your are guilty of being sure everyone hears it again and again. Besides I agree with Cameron its a rumor and on the show for drama. Cameron may have a new job with Andy Cohen since he is starting a new reality show with old "Real World" cast. Probably depends on how its done considering they are older and mostly all be married with families now.

Not having more kids was BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life. Kids need to have siblings. The husband has cheated with more than one young girl. So sad that she is denial. But she wants everybody to think she has this perfect marriage. She needs to leave the loser and run to Shep, who is her true soul-mate. You can see that she is herself around Shep. The biggest problem with women like Cameran and Naomi, is that they are fooled by the 'professional title', of the men they marry, i.e. 'MD" or whatever. They do not look at who the man is inside and if he is truly right for them. If Shep was a Doctor, I bet Cameran would have stayed with him. She failed to see that he is her 'soul-mate'. We can all see it. They fit, they are natural together, they give off that 'real couple meant to be together' vibe. Her MD husband looks like he hates her, and they are extremely awkward together. Its like they are the last two people to be together. Same with Naomi. Matool, who is also an MD, actually looks down at Naomi and treats her like hes above her in status. That relationship will end in disaster, mark my words. Hes just a pretty boy more into his body than he is concerned about her. The fact that he has not proposed to her after all this time is proof. I feel sorry for these two women because they are not enlightened enough to see the truth. Older and wiser people will all agree with me. MARRY YOUR SOULMATE. Do not marry money nor title. Money will NEVER make you happy (just look at Melania), marrying a doctor will not make the relationship great. Don't look for the fantasy, look for the reality, look for what is right in front of you all this time, (SHEP). Now, Shep should grow up a tad, stop drinking like a loser, and fight like hell for Cameran. Shes a priceless woman. Shes sweet and good. Sure shes beautiful, but shes beautiful inside. SHEP- Get it together, stop drinking, and be ready to rescue Cameran when her marriage finally ends, which it will. You can win her over, but you have to do the work. Shes a priceless treasure, and you know it. Dont fuck around and let her slip away a second time. Earn her love. She wants you to.

You absolutely did make the right decision to exit when you did. I have been watching from day 1. I live Southern Charm. I've been to Charleston several times and I love it there. They brought in some new people and now everything is about "Race." The country is a mess right now. I'm extremely worried what is going to happen to all of us. Especially American Constitution loving people. Very worried. When I watch these shows it is a escape. It's an escape for a lot of people. I don't want to put my tv on and watch the news and see all the insanity that is happening and then put on the tv and put one of my favorite shows on and here we go again!
