The best performance that I have seen from Cameron Wright hands down his voice reminds me so much of Tevin Campbell Tevin has that silky smooth high pitched singing voice and it's so beautiful Cameron's voice is the exact same way just beautiful and to sing a Whitney Houston song the way that he did what a gorgeous rendition I felt like I was watching a Tribute to The Queen of R&B MS. This is THE BEST rendition of this song EVER!!! Whitney would be sooo proud!!! This is an award winning performance. The range, yes... the emotion, yes... the arrengement, yes... the class & elegance, yes... but, above all, THE SOUL ... this is one of Whitney's most soulfull and difficult songs to sing, bc it sounds like almost a whisper from begining to end, but not. It sounds easy but it is hard to keep the soulful pace and rhytm in a song that requires an incredible breath control, let alone range. Remember Whitney didn't even like the song at first, when Babyface (who produced it for the "waiting to exhale" soundtrack) sang it on the phone. And then, just like other songs Whitney wasn't feeling at first, this too went straight to number one. She didn't sing it too much live (i believe there's only one or two live versions, as far as i can remember), so to hear it so perfectly executed brings back all those memories of a time when voice, lyrics, melody, message, meaning, soul, all mattered. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏👏. Unfortunately, in the tradition of this show, only a miracle would make Cameron the winner. This is called "the voice" but we already know what happens after the emotion settles. Just like the election, i believe he too shall not win. But regardless, i hope they help him be the star he deserves to be.
