I've followed Ateez since close to their debut. They were on a show that I watched and they were just so funny and had such fun personalities that I had to check them out. Their music just keeps getting better and better. I swore I would never spend money on a kpop act other than BTS but when Ateez came on tour last November, I went and they were outstanding live. They deserve the hype. They won't replace my boys in BTS, but they are a close second.

ATEEZ have so many fire b-sides! The titles are amazing, but b-sides just hit different. Some of my favs: Desire Take me home(I'm convinced it's fandom's favorite) Cyberpunk(I'm proud to say it was my fav before we got that spicy choreo) The Leaders Dune(got me levitating) This world Sector 1 Outlaw And basically last two albums straight up(the world ep 1&2) I also recommend to check the lyrics for b-sides, even if sometimes they're wrong, especially for the last two ep.s(the world ep 1 and ep 2 Outlaw) cause they're very storyline heavy and we really get to feel the despair and emptiness of their dystopian world.

Honestly, I have been watching your channel longer than I've been an Atiny, so this was really welcome! I'm glad you got to watch Wonderland before the 2nd round of Kingdom. Another few songs you might want to check out before your finish kingdom (if you haven't seen them already), are Inception and Answer. They also perform The Real, but the mv for it was filmed after the show finished. They also start that performance with a snipit from a song (that you will either love or hate) called The Leaders. Their first performance on Kingdom was a remade version of Wave, I don't know if you caught that. Also, the deep voice rapper, Mingi (Min-gi not Min-ji for reference) was on hiatus due to anxiety for all of Kingdom. He's been back over 2 years now and he's doing so well!

I’m sooooo happy you’re getting into Ateez, once you become a stay you kind of also have to become an Atiny, the groups are so close. At least that’s how it happened for me and Kingdom solidified my love for both. Their b-sides and actually entire discography are actually top tier, no skips. Some of my favorites in all of kpop are Dazzling Light, Win, Turbulence, Rocky, Django, Sunrise, Mist. And then my number one is Precious… when you hear that song it’ll be life-changing. Have fun!

It's because of BTS that I started learning about K-pop and Korea, and that led me to the right place at the right time to learn about a new group that would eventually debut on October 24, 2018. I was watching live when they named us ATINY on November 17 the following month. So proud to be predebut. They are everything.💙

Their first album series, Treasure, was big on establishing the pirate/journey theme so yeah, most of the lyrics have a pretty simple message but instead play with the sea journey imagery in some creative ways (and so do choreos, like some elements of Say My Name, or when they move like water in Wave). The second series, Zero: Fever, goes back in their storyline, the theme is youth and its "fever", as in passion but also pain and all kinds of pressure, doubt, even fear. The current album series is The World and it's very lore-heavy, it's basically a soundtrack to their story about inciting a revolution (if you're watching Kingdom then that's what their stages will be about, especially Rhythm Ta and then Answer which basically shows what happened after the Say My Name MV). My general advice going forward is to watch as many live performances as possible - vids from all their concert DVDs for example are available on YT and safe to react to, they sing live (with a not too prominent backing track) and all that charisma you could see in the MVs just goes through the roof in front of a live audience.

AMAZING!!! I’ve been an ARMY since 2014, went to BTS in 2018 and went to ATEEZ earlier this year. It was AMAZING!!! They are known for their incredible performances! The guy with the deep voice is Mingi, he also really amazed me at the concert. He is now my bias wrecker, San is my bias (he always gives 200% at any performance, he was the guy who was fighting in the last mv you watched). Honestly you need to watch Halazia too. You’ll probably like I’m the one (fireworks) too and I LOVE “the Real - Heung version” (you will hear the normal version on Kingdom, but the Heung version is honestly way better and has a mv!) Thanxx is also great!!! For B-sides: -Mist (this is a slower one, but I absolutely love it) -Sector 1 (this went crazy at the concert) -Rocky (has a bit more rock influences here and there). -The leaders (the raapppppp!!!) -Win (also awesome!)
