I don’t get why artists don’t get that people would prefer a more authentic version of a song. This is so nice to hear. It’s so real and nice to hear the live band and singers. The original recordings are often way too over produced.

"Authentic" :)) The amount of practice, control, muscle memory and feedback to sound and look this "authentic" is at least 10x more effort that a studio recording and of course the risk of messing it up is "fake" and "lol, can't even sing without autotune". Not to even mention the human factor of sore throat, bad sleep, stage anxiety etc. People don't want the raw version, they want the illusion of raw version.

Wow, I must admit I wasn't a fan of hers while she was with 5th harmony. But man she's a stand out. Maybe she always was, but being with the group def stunted her shine and what she was capable of. I was a fan of hers in her 5H days. She definitely had to hold back a LOT to even it out with the other girls in their performances and interviews. It was disturbing finding out how many hit singles she had to turn down back then because of 5H then seeing what she went through leaving the group but I’m sure she’d go through it again seeing where she is today. 💕✨
