Elliepopcorn there have been better voice actors for Lara in the past. In the next game I expect her to be more refined when it comes to combat. None of the makeshift bows anymore. She needs tactical Arsenal like In the older games. They should actually incorporate hand to hand combat as well. Change her hair too lol. Also the outfits need to step up. I know it’s off topic but that’s just what I’m hoping for the next game, they should also make Lara funny and witty. The thing about Camila is that even when she’s trying to sound confident it doesn’t sound confident. Even when she tries to be funny or witty which has never happened in the rebooted series. She was perfect for the origin story but it’s time someone comes in and does the older version of Lara. Someone with a sophisticated voice.

They've changed the voice actor a good few times so don't get your hopes up that she'll be voicing her again whether the game sells well enough or not legend , anniversary and underworld had a complete different person voicing and sold pretty well and considering the tomb raider franchise is popular it always sells well

They did change the VAs, but that was during the old saga. For this trilogy they had the same VA for the protagonist. I'm pretty optimistic about her changing her mind, especially if Square Enix wants her to stay (money tends to have that effect on people).

I know this is a year old video, but I really hope Shadow of The Tomb Raider isn't her last outing as Lara. Every single game in the Survivor Timeline (2013-Shadow) she deos an amazing job, and has that chemistry with the other VAs as well. If Shadow is the last Ludington Lara we get I wish Mrs.Ludington luck, and a happy life for the future, and that I will miss her as Lara Croft.

She is gonna be recasted but sadly this version of Lara isn’t gonna be faithful to the Classic era with her taking on kind of a mentor role with her working with younger Tomb Raiders, dealing with loneliness, having a love interest, and her hosting fundraisers to return artifacts to their place of origin instead of hoarding them like she did in the original games.

Shadow of the tomb raider has the best voice acting I have heard in any game. It really took me by surprise. This woman and some other voice actors in the game should win some awards. Play the game with some good quality headphones, it's worth it.

The older games from the original through to Angel Of Darkness were set in the same continuity yet had different actresses play the role over the course of the series, each actress brought there own take to the role. So even if Camilla dosen't come back there is nothing stopping them from continuing with this version of the character, but with another actress.
