The royal jewels belong to the Crown and the Queen has the option to loan it to other royal members. It is not Kates jewelry just because she tends to wear it on various occasions, however I feel it in poor taste to loan a tiara that often is associated with Kate. There are soo many other tiaras in the Vault that could have been lent to Sofie instead of her wearing a tiara closely associated to Kate. So yes very dissapointing indeed.

I agree on that point. I also think that Kate wearing the Lovers Knot tiara was too soon after Diana's death. Diana had a lifetime loan on that tiara as a wedding gift from QEII and wore it so often it was strongly associated with her. She supposedly was originally to wear it at her wedding but changed her mind and opted for the Spencer tiara instead. It should have been vaulted and maybe brought out for Charlotte when she is older.

@postinaway. I’m so far, still hooked on “sitting around & watching.” So confusing. I’m starting to wonder if it was really a body double. at the Trouping of the color. I do believe that she was in a coma, for a while. as Concha said. But there was not even a brief appearance of her, when the Empress. (?Masoko?) from Japan came to visit. Guess I’ll just have to “wait & see,” like everyone else. As for Princess Ann’s injury, that too, is suspicious to me. But I think that Catherine i s still alive & recovering. The children made me think so.
