I’ve had mine for about a year it’s my everyday carry and have used it in a variety of ways hunting,hiking and camping never had any issues it’s a really good tool for the price and I’m not afraid of breaking it cause of the price I abuse this knife way more than any of my micro techs or any of my other high end knives these guys wouldn’t know anything about a good knife a lot of the comments ppl saying they have had theirs for years with no issues just like mine this review was a joke hope people don’t take them seriously cause it’s a great budget knife

I've had a camillus titanium for about 6 or more years now and I've used it the skin squirrels to do rabbit to do fish I use it to prepare my potatoes and steaks it's razor blade sharp it holds a good edge for what I use it for and it has an excellent grip that you can't drop even if your hands are soaking wet or covered in blood, I don't know why people don't like this knife I got it for like 10 bucks it was great, I just now got the Schrade mini machete, I got it a few days ago for like 12 bucks and some change, I'm not using them to go chop trees and crap like that, I'm using it for food preparation, and that's where these knives excel.
@ryandavis4689

I'm just saying if you want to chop trees, they have hatchets for that if you want to talk really big trees they have axes. If you want to chop a bunch of brush they have machetes, if you want something that's very good at prepping game and preparing food items and that will last you a very very long time and is easy to clean and doesn't rust and stays razor blade sharp and I mean razor blade after you sharpen it yourself better, these two knives I mentioned above I think personally for their price value are excellent knives to have.

@@AlwaysSurvive budget blades Mora make some pretty good ones also that are out of budget I believe it's a swedish company I could be wrong on that though, but yeah they have budget knives some less than $10 some less than 20. Perhaps may be superior than the two I mentioned but I really just like how the ones I have look and feel in my hands and yeah naw I haven't had any problems with them, the mini machete by schrade excels at the delimbing things and it's good for like bigger objects like watermelons and cantaloupes or you know splitting a rotisserie chicken down the middle, and the camillus titanium is really good for like you know smaller tasks that doesn't require such a large blade. But as far as using these two knives for Bushcraft, you can squash that thought, even the camillus carnivore machete is a piece of crap at doing bushcraft, sure they advertise it that way but as the name implies it's only good for food prep. I wish they were more versatile perhaps, but I got an array of blades and different things that are good at individual things and I mean it is what it is, for less than $20 so you got yourself a good kitchen set right there. Minus the cutting board and pan but you can get those for dirt cheap. And yeah once you put a edge on those blades as long as you use it reasonably that edge won't go away, my friend picked up my camillus titanium and said I wonder how sharp this is and he touched the water bottle with it and popped a hole in it he said oh snap it's really sharp. Just saying regular 440 still is okay but the titanium bonded 440 it really does hold an edge for a long time as long as you're not you know chopping trees and sticking it in trees and bending it, my knives don't have any nicks or bends in them. I'll look for more of your content though I like your channel. But when you get a knife that's really thin like that it's not made for Bushcraft or batoning anything or anything like that, in general thin blades less than a quarter inch to 3/16th thick are made for food prep. Also the extremely lightweight with a dead giveaway, and that grip is specifically designed for bloody or wet hands.

I know this videos are your old but I get a kick out of reviewers, I buy a $10 knife from Walmart and then can’t understand why they can’t punish them lol. i’ve had that exact knife for about five years. I put an edge on it for years ago and I’ve had to do nothing but light stropping since. The sales are great camp knife, for cooking maybe some light feather sticking, cutting light things. cannot cut down a tree with it, I would personally not even use it to baton with. But using this knife for what it meant for and been very heavily used and like I said I’ve had to very lightly hone once in a while and that’s it.

@rChuvy
@rChuvy 2 жыл бұрын
It was kinda ur fault it bent, you stuck it over an inch into the tree and pushed it sideways, sooo… all I’m saying is I have one of these and it has been great quality for YEARS. The knife isn’t MEANT for some of the things you are putting it through. It’s meant to be a light knife that isn’t used for chopping down (or through) a small tree like you tried to do, also you saw how much it can shave off in one go on that small tree which it could go trough that tree in a couple minutes if you kept shaving. This type of knife is meant to be an outdoors knife for basic things not a full on survival knife. If you use it properly it’s very reliable.
@rChuvy
@rChuvy 2 жыл бұрын
It is mainly meant to be sort of a hunting knife, if you take care of it and maintain it then it’s a GREAT field knife for deer hunting. It field dresses deer great.

@@rChuvy I’ve done the same kind of test for several different knives you can go back and look some of my stuck in a lot further than that and a lot harder than that and he still still didn’t break but yes it can be made for a butchering blade with everybody keep saying
@rChuvy
@rChuvy 2 жыл бұрын
@@AlwaysSurvive All I am saying is these tests are for knives that are truly supposed to be durable and used rigorously. This knife however is not. It is meant to be like a hunting knife, to field dress game. Not to chop down a small tree with. Like I said in my original comment, meant to be a lightweight knife used to small things, not a full on survival knife. It's kind of like trying to use a homelight chainsaw to cut through metal. It's obviously not going to perform the greatest as it isn't really meant for it.

The knife is for food prep, not chopping trees, or throwing into trees! It's for skiing rabbits or squrles. Preparing fish or potatoes. Carrots and other vegetables! A knife is designed as a tool for a certain purpose! Your video shows the wrong purpose!
