CAMINANDO - WALKING TOUR - BUENOS AIRES

El Puerto de frutos es un pequeño embarcadero a orillas del Río Luján en la localidad de Tigre (Buenos Aires), junto al cual se ubica el mercado de frutos. Deben sus nombres a que hasta mediados del siglo xx desembarcaba allí la producción frutal del Delta del Paraná, que luego era comercializada en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.

The Fruit Port is a small pier on the banks of the Luján River in the town of Tigre (Buenos Aires), next to which the fruit market is located. They owe their names to the fact that until the mid-twentieth century, fruit production from the Paraná Delta was landed there, which was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires.
