The 2nd best part of our holiday back in 2012, the Top of be list being my now husband proposing the me the day before we did this hike. Totally scratched up my engagement ring climbing this but we loved every minute of it. Got some beautiful photos of together down in the valley by the ruins of the old house. Thank you for filming this. Brings back great memories, even if they are stomach churning at times haha.

WIsh I had done this back when you did it! Since the Caminito has been made safe and easy, can you suggest any other un-renovated hikes that have similar thrill factor?

If you have not done it already you need to do the plank walk on mt Huashan in China. Similar thing but 2km up and on planks of wood that are bolted to the mountain. I did a video of it when I was there last year.

great video. I'm planning to head there in December but I wanna get a few more details before I go. do you need your own rope at any point? because I saw on another video they had to use rope for the first section of the hike to get to the trail.

Eh yea. Someone didn't show you how to use snapgate karabiners. Always clip the gate of the karabiner facing 180 degrees to each other. That way if you slip and spin when you fall, both karabiners won't twist too and undo themselves. At least one won't. Countless people have died from this very mistake. Saves having a rescue organisation dragging your ass out at the very least.

Brave! I would never do anything like that. El caminito has been refurbished since then, and now anybody can walk it without risking by their lives or their dog's life. The background music is un+listenable at least to my own taste.. I would recommend something calmer, or perhaps some Spanish theme?
