Looks like a good filter bottle! Let us know when you actually have used it on your Camino, if you were happy with it. Can‘t wait to watch your next Camino adventure!

For peace of mind I think this filter will work out nicely. I see myself using it at the airport, albergue, and fountains along the way. Water is very heavy to carry so I plan on “camel up” when I have access to water. Thanks for watching.

Although, I love my water bladder, I agree that it's a PITA to refill and get it in and out of the backpack!!!! I want to hear about your Grayl Water Purifier Bottle after your trip too. :) Awesome sound effects 😂, bloopers, and well-organized playlists. :)

The Grayl works amazing. Faster than the Sawyer squeeze and the BeFree filter. Even though it’s titanium and supposed to be lighten, but still a little heavy to carry around. The bottle is not insulated, but it does keep the water colder than water bottle. The Grayl filters both bacteria and viruses. The water from the fountain tasted 100% better than sink water from the albergue. The Grayl is a plus for me and will likely use it on future trip. Thanks for watching Farmer.

No need for purification of water on the Camino. Perfectly safe to drink unless it actually says non potable.

You’re absolutely right Stellan, the water fountain is safe to drink. The fountain water tasted cool and crisp, something I look forward to drinking daily rather than albergue sink water. It's ridiculous how fast and easy that Grayl filter work and how it brings peace of mind for me on the Camino. My fear go into the backpack and this is one item I'll be carrying, if not then I'll buy water at the store daily. Thanks for watching Stellan. Buen Camino.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I've done three Caminos and never had any problems with the tap water anywhere, nor have I ever heard anyone else having any problems. Moreover, you should absolutely *not* use microfiltration like Sawyer and Katadyn in streams as they do not filter the chemicals found in agricultural run off, and you'll be walking through a lot of farmland. Moreover, that Grayl filter is only good for 65 gal, and you won't know when it stops working. Just stick to public fountains like everyone else.

Great comments Andy. I have done 3 Caminos as well (500 miles Frances, Primitivo, and now the Ingles). On the Ingles they now installed new water fountain every 6 km. Water tasted cool and crisp, something I look forward to drinking daily rather than albergue sink water. It’s ridiculous how fast and easy that Grayl filter work and how it brings peace of mind for me on the Camino. My fear go into the backpack and this is one item I’ll be carrying, if not then I’ll buy water at the store daily. Thanks for watching Andy. Buen Camino fellow peregrino.

There is potable water all the way.

You are absolutely correct Marco. Every 6km they installed a potable drinking fountain. The water tastes cold and fresh. I understand it’s very safe to drink. For my peace of mind I rather carry the extra weight. The Grayl filter bacteria and viruses too. Also, it’s not insulated, but managed to kept water colder than in a bottle. I like that it’s convenient and fast to use. The sink water at the albergue has a terrible smell, but the water from the drinking fountain tastes delicious. Something I looked forward to when hike on a hot day. Thanks for watching.
