I loved your presentation. Your perseverance and the difficulty of the trail kept me at the edge of my seat. The music was perfect and the arrival into Granada was breathtaking. I'm going to have to try another camino route first before I would consider tackling this one. Thanks for the awesome video.

Hi. Excellent video. May i ask how difficult were the climbs? We go next week. I have completed The Norte, The Portuguese and the Salvador but this looks quite difficult 😊 Daniel
@bjrgtvetenester94174 ай бұрын
It is difficult to say something about the level of difficulty, because we hikers are so different. But I don't think this camino is very difficult. There are few really steep climbs. It's more about the fact that in the course of a day you can go up or down a good number of meters in height, and I remember some rather long stages, ... but remember that we are an older couple. :) The hikes in dry rivers were perhaps the most tiring. But we have walked many, many caminos, and this one is still high on the list of those we remember with pleasure.

@@bjrgtvetenester9417 Thank you so much for your reply and the info. Yes despite some tough climbs the Salvador was high on my list of Caminos I enjoyed. Looking forward to next week and more so after your great video.

I am seriously thinking of doing this towards the end of the year or early next year. Are there plenty of signs…is it easy to find the way ? Especially from Almeria to Granada ….thanks
@bjrgtvetenester9417 Жыл бұрын
Whether it is "plenty of signs" and "easy to find the way" depends on what you compare with. It is not marked like the French route of course, but it is well marked all the way. In this sense, the route is better marked than some of the other routes from the south-east of Spain. We had no problems finding our way. If you have walked many routes, you will probably find that this one is among the better when it comes to markings. Asociación de Almeria does a very good job! Here is the address of their site: www.caminozorabesantiago.com/ Here is the address of the guide which is constantly updated: drive.google.com/file/d/1AzQ2czJBF79OeyvzVkhPHkHaFBvAr1zp/view You will see that it has a lot of concrete information about the route, accommodation and map. Bon camino!

Do you write Portuguese? I don't know that language, but I think you write that it was summer and you couldn't get to Granada? Is that right? Was it too hot?

@bjrgtvetenester94174 жыл бұрын

Has recorrido el camino mozarabe completamente? Se puede hacer en bicicleta??. Saludos !!
@bjrgtvetenester94176 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but I have to answer in English. My Spanish is not good enough. Yes, we have walked the Camino Mozarabe both from Almeria and from Malaga, and we have walked all the way to Merida. I think this camino is similar to many other caminos when it comes to cycling it. In some places it will be difficult, but most of the way it will be fine. I can think of a few demanding places, but it will be too extensive to write about this here. You can find a lot of information here: www.almeriajacobea.es/ and here: caminomozarabedemalaga.com/asociacion/ and maybe here: eliniciomozarabe.es/camino-mozarabe-en-bicicleta-agosto/ but I cannot open this last document. You can see my video from Granada - Cordoba here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5nRoYutbc53aNk Good luck!
