What a foggy day to start, only to end super hot at 32 Celsius! That Werewolf thing is bizarre! And yet, the scenery is so lush and green, especially with a cool canopy of trees, which one loses later ... like a mini-Meseta towards Cee, hahaha. That was a long walk too! and the last part was downhill ... no wonder you were tired...The video is wonderfully edited, thank you B. I can't believe it's almost over. Thank you for sharing your journey, and I am very motivated to copy your adventure. Buen Camino!!

Hiya. Yes, it was a lovely atmosphere with the fog at the start of the day. And the scenery really was beautiful, despite the scary werewolf. The only downside was that it was so hot and humid with big backpacks on. But still a good day. 🙂 Thanks for watching and Buen Camino!

Oh my... feels like being in the Pyrenees with all the fog; then straight to the hot meseta. The best part was that both of you were still smiling. 😊😊

🙂 Yep, it was a day of picturesque weather. We were certainly hot and tired by the end. And we always try to smile for the camera, but maybe not always smiling off camera. 😄

I was grateful of the warmth of my pack during my snowy Camino so I can imagine how much warmer it would make a summer hike. That sea view is beautiful and I bet you felt like just laying down in the cool water! Another great video, thank you.

Thanks very much. The cool ocean water was really nice on a hot day. What time of year did you walk your Camino? Was it the Francés?

@@EagerFeetFamily March/April 2019, ending in Santiago on 14 April 2019 in time to see a few Semana Santa processions. The Napoleon Way was closed due to snow and there continued to be snow across the mountains especially around Leon and there was hail and sleet at times, but other times the weather was glorious and even warm on the metseta. It was sometimes difficult to get accommodation in March, leading to some long days, no regrets though and by April it wasn't a problem.

Wow - I thought we had some crazy weather on our trip, but yours sounds far more intense! And yet your attitude is so positive, it makes me feel like just about any weather can be handled. Did you have to pack extra warm? Did you buy extra clothing or other stuff along the way?

I'd packed for warmer weather but did pack a good waterproof jacket and a lightweight Merino wool top. My hands were freezing so I bought a pair of warm gloves in Leon. Other than the gloves, I just layered up with what I had. I'd wear multiple tops and pants, so the colder the weather, the lighter my pack was 😁. I think the cold was easier to manage than the heat you both endured. Hiking in hot weather is exhausting.

I agree with you - I prefer walking / running in cooler weather compared to warmer weather. It's typically easier to add layers than escape the heat. But maybe that's the Canadian in me. 😄

For awhile I kept trying to figure out whether Cee is a real place or just your making. It is, as verified by Camino Ninja and Gronze. So cool. I feel so overwhelmed by the love and family togetherness from both of you. I keep telling myself, go and walk the Camino again, but from SJPdP to Fisterre/Muxia! Enjoy the Camino with wonderful people along the amazing landscapes and vistas. Stay safe. Buen Camino.

Lol - yes, Cee is a real place. And a lovely one at that. Thanks very much for the nice comments. We hope you get an opportunity to walk another Camino, and bonus if you can go to Finisterre and/or Muxia. Best wishes, and Buen Camino! 🙂
