Hi Tim, Neil from Scotland here. Hope you and your back are fully recovered. I'm thinking about doing the Camino Portuguese (Porto to SDC) next year. I see you have done this. What time of year did you go, how does it compare to the Frances as regards accommodation? all the best Neil

Hey Neil, it is good to hear from you. Yes, I am back home and fully recovered. The Portuguese Route is good. I took the Central route through the mountains and towns instead of the Coastal route, and enjoyed it. The Coastal route is probably the most popular. Either route is good. You can walk it in 10 - 12 days. I went in early June. Great weather and very little rain. I would recommend going in June over September to minimize the rain. Take care my friend. Buen Camino!
