Love this guy 😂 I feel like I really got to know him through his videos. Hope I run into characters like him on my Camino. Doing mine in July starting in France!

The Camino Vasco de Interior (Tunnel Route) is really beautiful. I have only completed it to Zegama, but plan to continue to Santo Domingo along with completing the Norte as soon as they let us back in! Well worth checking it out. Takes only 7-10 days. Thank you again for your beautiful work. 😎❤️👣

Hi Efren. You do the very best vlogs. You should someday consider writing a guidebook, but I know that's a different media. I do have a question. I'm planning on walking the Camino Frances from mid-May to mid-June in 2022 and am torn between taking a summer weight sleeping bag, a camping quilt, or just a bag liner. I know it's dependent on the weather forecasts, but what are your thoughts? I want to keep my overall bag weight down to under 15 pounds, so I'm trying to be as efficient as possible.

thank you so much Randall. I would take the liner. you can add blankets on top. in May the temperature started to rise and by the time June comes around it will be full summer.

Thanks Efren. I'll take your advice. You've walked so much in Spain, I know you've got your gear dialed in.

Great video again. I enjoyed it as always.🥰 And if everybody is suggesting the trips you should do then add one more to your list. I'm sure that Via de la Plata is already on that list but as an intro or "warm up" to it I suggest you do Rota Vicentina - the fishermen's trail. It's a beautiful stretch of land in SW Portugal starting in Porto Covo and ending in Lagos (and from there you have only 2 hours bus ride to Seville). The scenery there (by the ocean almost all the time) is breathtaking and I'd really like to see it through the eye of your camera. Hope I meet you somewhere on your future trips!🌻☕🍮🤠🐌

Fun series Efren. As you mentioned you liked the lockbox in the albergue to keep your stuff safe, you may want to check out pacsafe travelsafes. If you are traveling with anything valuable as you can lock the pouch to your bed or anything that doesn't move, and it is safe and can not be cut open. I have been using them for many years.

I liked Santo Domingo. It was a nice town. I actually took a rest day here for logistical reasons and nice place to walk around in.
