I did the Camino in 2018. Efren was a great guide! Planning on going back in 2022 if Europe ever opens up again.

LOL. Love the entrance. Your new hair-do looks great! Thanks so much for those drone shots of that castle! I saw it from the ground and wished I could have explored it in person, but couldn't.

Glad you enjoyed it Susan. trying to change it up to keep them interesting. I found out later (thanks to the GPS Tracks) that one can go to the castle, sadly at the time, I had no idea how to get up there.

I went to the right going out of Villafranca and it was TOUGH climbing but the views looking back into the valley were amazing.

In O Cebreiro cemetery is buried the priest that designed and started using the yellow arrows that are very well known to be used all across the Camino to point out our way to Santiago. During my Camino, when I reached the top of the mountain where O Cebreiro is located I felt tired and grateful to be there

I will be walking the AT this summer. I plan to do the shikoku in October or November if Japan is open.
