This was great! And so fun to see you! Love the fact that you can lose 10 years with the cap turned backwards....I am going to try that and see how I feel LOL. I love how streamlined your packing is. I always was aiming for 10% but now....7% woohoo!! Big love to the three of you!

@@caminotellers I think the length was just right. You provide a lot of information that answers a lot of questions. I shared it with my Whatsapp group that I created for our upcoming October trip.

First time I went to Palencia and I was trying to buy my camino house I was totally paranoid I would lose my passport. I have since overcome that fear. Great video. I have that Colopaxi bag in a different color and it worked great in Paris a couple of weeks ago!! I felt very safe with it.

Can you explain how you use the quilt in the albergues where the have the plastic matresses? Do you need an extra liner? Is it open on the top or underneath?

Great video. After previously getting down to less than 10% of body weight, including snacks and water, just at REI last week talking to an associate about further cutting weight. The 7% goal is an excellent standard.

Thanks Ricky, I learned after my first camino the important question why am I taking that stuff!!! I was 6.3kg with bag. The last ones I was 3kg. Pretty much the same as you. Had silk sleep sack, toe socks in my sock system...stopped a blister at top of a toe, used vicks on feet most days and had 160g umbrella disposable poncho and rain jacket. Like you said everything has to have multi use...I used shampoo for hair, clothes and showers. The only thing I am taking extra on top is a nail brush... weighs 30gm and can clean my shoes 👞. Interesting sleep quilt looks technical and extensive. My backpack was 680gms with a frame. Great vid as always big hugs and live life large. Hope you get to do the VdP...maybe you can take the fur baby.

I carried a 6.5 kilo pack excluding water and food. I quickly found out that apples and bananas are HEAVY. I ate those quickly if I carried them for snacks. I’d take a sleep sack instead of a sleeping bag and not take a power bank either.

My backpack was at 7kg. I could reduce the weight for the next time. But as you said, depends on the time of the year. For summer 5kg would be more than enough. I recomend to take only the necessary food and water for the day. And for the electronics only one power brick but with a few usb connections.
