ill take an lt1 gen 2 over an ls any day my lt1 with comp cam 503 aft heads and 36 lb injectors makes 400 wheel hp on opti still.

Nice build man. Looking to throw a cam in my 96ss. Its just a cruiser really. Would you recommend a stall on an otherwise stock lt1?

Thanks and nice, man! Yeah, a stall can do wonders even with a stock motor. For cam-only, I'd recommend something like a 26-2800 stall.

Posted all the specs in a different comment. It was pretty reliable for 6 years, but unfortunately I had a failure last year while spraying a 100 shot of nitrous. I ran out of nitrous mid pull and it hydrolocked cylinder 5 and cracked the piston ring land

A program called TunerCat. Still using the stock ECU and I plug into the OBD port with a laptop ALDL cable.

I did also add a nitrous system this year that was left out of those specs. It's a throttle body plate that I was spraying a 100 shot on. I have a Mallory 685 ignition controller that I pull timing and run my 2-Step with

Thanks for the replay I have the same cam from tick performance. Looking to do either le1 or le2 heads with it along 2800-3200 pro torque converter I have. I want to go 3.73 but I highway drive the car a lot so I’ll probably settle for 3.42.

@OrlandoRamirez-l2g Flowtech Afterburner Long tubes into a homemade X-Pipe. I had dual electric cutouts with Cherry bomb turbo mufflers after. Cutouts are open in most of this video
