Yeah. To me drum and bass was always special in how exhilarating and agressive it could be at the same time. That blend of cinematics, syncopation, interesting time signatures and boundary pushing sound design. Like I always loved how artists didn't cut the low and high ends out as much as in other genres, but particularly just mainstream pop.
