Join us for a stay at Kings Island Camp Cedar Luxury outdoor luxury lodge and RV resort in Mason, Ohio, during our first ever visit to Kings Island amusement park (which is right across the street!)! We stay in a beautiful, charming cottage in the style of a tiny house, complete with golf cart, fire pit, grilling pit, picnic table and all the other fun amenities of a camping style stay! In this video, I give you a full tour of our Hickory cottage and its farmhouse design, including all the amenities indoor and out, but more than just a tour of the cottage, main lobby and grounds, this video is about us showing you our authentic stay at the cottage and all the fun we had glamping. We have the best time cooking on the campsite cooking grill after doing some local grocery shopping, taking a few joy rides on the golf cart, watching the Kings Island fireworks from the campsite, lighting a campfire, roasting marshmallows, making smores, and watching the sun rise and set over our lovely little lake. Those of us that have worked at kings island ( 3 generations of my family) love it and are very proud of our little park! I am still friends and we still have reunions with those I worked with back in the early 80s… So glad you had a great experience!

My fave part of camping is that smoky smell, I usually camp in the mountains for 2 weeks, in a tent, no clamping for me! When I get home my clothes still have that smoky smell, it's the best!

I so would sleep in that loft, until I needed a pee in the night ( or had a few beers before bedtime ). Top tip avoid any new neighbors games that involve bottles or keys . What a beautiful place though , somewhere we would stay on our next trip

Camp Cedar looks fun. We might have to check it out ourselves. We live 2 ish hours away in Ohio. We go to Kings island once or twice a year. Used to be season pass holders but that was years ago. Kings Island has grown as an overall park and property over the last few years. Camp Cedar looks nice. Hope you had fun!

Just finished watching this video, bought back so many memories of our family trips, we always stayed at KOA campgrounds and rented a cabin or a cottage, in places like Chattanooga, Boulder-Colorado, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone,Yosemite, just to name a few and being able to set at a campfire overlooking a lake or mountains , just a great experience-golf cart driving , good job Jackie

THAT RESORT ROCKS! I am going to stay here give its only an hour from Dayton, where the FREE Museum of the Air Force is! Those 'cabins' reminds me of the Mini-Homes we see all the time online. But Dang sleeping 6 to 8 people! WOW! That Twilight sequence was COOL! This might be a good Honeymoon spot IF you don't go out of the country for that! Enjoy your adventure vacation and stay safe!

You saying that it was still somewhat light out reminds me of camping up in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan in the summer time and it'd be 10:30 or 11:00 pm and still be about that light out even. Also cooking smores works best with a fire that has been going a few hours, so you can roast it over a hot spot instead of directly in the fire. Marshmallows will then expand in size.

I'm enjoying the cross country trip you two are on and it's very helpful to point out all the other destinations one can go on with the visuals & insight to the areas. It would have been neat to run into you two while in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. My family & I were at the same Camp Margaritaville at the end of June to first of July for a week.
