Nice review. Did not know about this brand. Will research these when I buy gloves next time. I just got the montane tornado gloves.

They are pretty versitile gloves but are definitely made with ice climbing in mind. They are really easy to get on and off which is a huge bonus depending on use!

@@naturenate7117 since you use montbell stuff, would you by any chance be owning their down hugger sleeping bag?

@@rssin23 I don't have any experience with their bags... Zpacks and probably going to get a western mountaineering

@@naturenate7117 i had first chosen the wm alpinlite but then decided not to get it as its packaging size is just too big for backpacking. Finalised the montbell downhugger 900 #2 long.

@@rssin23 Nice, looks like a great bag! A 25F bag is super versatile, it'll treat you well!

I just bought some army surplus mittens for 15 bucks. So it’s interesting to see a technical opposite. Super advanced.

Ya as soon as technical sports are involved (ice climbing, rock climbing, etc.) the prices jump up like crazy... Often the counterparts are much more cost effective.

what's that grey jacket you're wearing? cheers

It’s the Outdoor Research Wilson Shirt Jacket. Definitely a good one, button snaps, a brushed finish that gives it some water resistance, and a nice fleece lining.
