I was using these in the 80's. Amazing it all comes around again.

I had one of these for years, it was called Scandica here in Aus then. It was the best camper i ever owned, i kept it until the canvas became to worn to use anymore. But they are a great camper!

I didn't realize these were still being made! Cool. Although I'm very skeptical about those two little, tiny legs holding up the kitchen.
@SqueekyBums Жыл бұрын
The majority of the weight is taken by the hinges. Before the legs when down, it was ok. The legs are more of a stability item.
@duncanread4442 Жыл бұрын

Ideal for those without much storage at home and don't want to pay to store a caravan elsewhere. Cheaper for ferry's too, as they charge on vehicle length. Nice set up 👍

It's a modern version of an old design. Looking at all the comments and it's crazy that what's old is new again. Just like the old 1960's Coleman canvas tent.

So you don't use the flat surface of the shell? I mean it's already sitting there why wouldn't you use that to sleep on elevated off the ground? Or do you pay extra for that?
@CampletTrailerTent Жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes you do. You sleep on the surface of the shells with the included mattresses. You can sleep up to four people in the standard version, which is the one you see the in video.

nice idea and as I hear from people it`s from good quality. Just the big disadvantage: if it is totally wet when you leave the campsite an have no space to dry it at home... .
