CAMP OVEN COOKING / FREE CAMPING / WARBURTONS BRIDGE CAMPGROUND / MALMSBURY / VANLIFE / CAMPING

In this episode, we travel in our converted Ford transit campervan, with our dog, to free camp at Warburtons Bridge campground in Victoria, Australia. We show you how to make camp oven pumpkin soup and a roast pork with veggies with our camp oven over the campfire. We also provide plenty of camping tips and tricks.

Warburton Bridget campground
Located within a bend of the scenic Loddon River, Warburtons Bridge in Glenluce is a spacious campground featuring multiple picnic tables, wood fire barbecues, fire pits and a toilet. Campsites sit right alongside the river with views of some beautiful rocky outcrops on the surrounding hillsides.

Kyneton is a town in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria, Australia. The Calder Freeway bypasses Kyneton to the north and east. Kyneton is on Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung country. The town has three main streets: Mollison Street, Piper Street and High Street.
Monsieur Pierre French caffe
When you stumble upon a French inspired patisserie in a country town, you have to stop and sample the treats. Monsieur Pierre in the beautiful town of Kyneton is a cute little place on a corner, so it's not hard to find. There is a few small tables inside, but more tables outside which is great when the weather is good. It also doubles as a deli, and has a select range of gourmet items that you can purchase to take away. Their display is so appealing. Pastries and croissants, cakes, tarts and slices, and the most decadent eclairs ever. Pretty as a picture, and delicious too, this is absolutely the best spot to stop for morning or afternoon tea. The coffee is really good too.

Loved the episode and the cooking makes me want to hit the road for a trip to anywhere. You all looked a bit cold though. You have never used your campmate heater. It would be ok to use when your up in van just don't use it overnight.

I use a small axe, tomahawk to cut pumkins I find it alot safer then using a sharp knife. Safety first. says the guy who nearly lost a toe with a normal size axe, thats a story for another day, Safety tip, axes and bare feet do not mix.
