Jim Bailey received his vocal training at a conservatory. This gave him the technical knowledge of his voice he needed so that he could do his incredible vocal impersonations, and also must have accounted for his remarkable state of vocal health for so many years. The way he adjusts his placement, vibrato, diction... you name it! for each singer is truly astounding. He often referred to himself as a "character actor," and he indeed was that, in the most exalted and perfect sense.

This is one of my favorite songs of Judy Garland. I have to say I have enjoyed Jim's singing it.I would pay to see him perform. Thank you, Jim for doing your part in keeping Judy's memory alive!

I worked at a gay bar called Kevin's Cabaret in the late 80's early 90's and had the pleasure of having Mr. Bailey prefom many times...He was and is a class act!

This man is just phenomenal doing Judy and Barbra. A master! His mannerisms in that classic little black dress that Judy looked so great in, and so does he, his mannerisms are perfect.

Jim is without a doubt the best Judy out there, and believe me, there are many. Saw a very "Famous" one recently in NYC, portrayed Judy in her final drunken years...what a horrible way to remember Judy....Thanks to Jim who honors Judy's memories with grace and beauty!

I really wish I would've gone to his concert in Minnesota years ago, or anywhere. I never heard him, even a recording of him, until now. He really turned me around about someone who could even approach singing like Judy, phenomenal!!!

Kevin Petroff He just died 5/30 of this year of a heart attack from pneumonia. Very sad. He was so very talented.
