Good for families. One problem is that the trams are not frequent to Alicante center. I was at Salesianos tram stop recently and was waiting for a tram to get back to the city center and they were about every 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the L1 speeds past taking people (tourists) to and from Benidorm express without stopping at other stations! This is a real shame because they ignore the local residents which include many young kids and teenagers who live in Campello and nearby places and who have to sit there waiting for half an hour at tram stops, and especially in hot weather. It´s not right and the local government should look into it.
