Car is definitely interesting, especially when you add the music.

This is one of my favourite video’s of yours, I love the Trossachs, a real gem in our beautiful country. Love the preview idea, would love to make videos like this just to record our own adventures and share with family, others some SHORTextra to of our trips.

Nice car in aberfoyle,we go out there quite a lot and you usually see something interesting either in the car park or driving over the dukes pass.

Again, some of my favourite places to visit in Scotland are in the Trossachs and the beauty is that it is about an hour away from Glasgow. Love Loch Katrine, The road to Stronlachar, Inversnaid etc. Yes, love the car!

Brilliant videos and photos Andy, your trips are inspirational for touring Scotland. I especially like the scenes where you pull in and stay overnight, describing the access, location, views and other POI’s.

Thank you Phil...I thought it would be good to make videos of the kind of thing I'd be interested in watching if I was interested in visiting an area. Do you motorhome in Scotland?

I initially came to your KZbin channel for your photography but I really enjoy your travelogue videos. The scenery is beautiful and your presentation is great. The reflections in Loch Chon were awesome. As for the car: while I wouldn't want to restore or own an old customized or restored vehicle, I love seeing them and will photograph them whenever I can. Old car shows are fairly common where I live. I have mixed feelings about the abstract photos. Some of them are very interesting and others don't work so well for me. Thanks for sharing your travels and I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks Terry. I love getting feedback like this as it gives me an idea of how people feel about my video content, and also the presentation. It's hard to know whether I should spend more time in front of the camera or not. Hope you're having a great weekend.

Excellent photography again Andy, and lots of good info. Is there anything you can do about the intrusive rear view mirror on your travelling shots? I appreciate there is little room available in the cab to re position the camera.

Hi David thanks for that comment. Do you know how long I laboured to make a mount for that camera? lol. I do get what you mean. It's huge as it's got the screen for the rear view camera on there. I'll go back to the drawing board and find a better place to mount the camera...bear with me :)

How about a wee video on the equipment you use to make theses blogs, positions of cameras and how you edit it all. Not everyone wants to do this sort of thing, I'm still struggling to get my dash crash camera to work in the van. It keeps shutting down and falling off the window!
@CamperCameraGo5 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea for a video, and one I think I'd enjoy making too. I'm working on mounting ideas for the camera I use for filming the road as I'm driving. I've had similar problems with not being able to get a mount to stick to the dash without damaging it. I think I may have cracked it now...just need to test the latest attempt!

@@CamperCameraGo Andy, how do you mount your camera when driving? What kit are you using for your driving view? I have tried a crash camera on the windscreen, problem is it keeps on falling off, turning off and with the window blinds, a pain in the butto keep on removing and I’m looking out for a GoPro or equivalent to run to capture some of the journeys as a starting point to building some short video summaries. What storage system or cloud provider do you use for storage of the film whilst editing and the final cut? Stronlochar is the starting point of the nice cycle back to the other end of Loch Katrine, one of my favourite places to visit, so close to the metropolis of Glasgow.
