Thanks for the super videos there James... I live in Germany and I've got a 2006 Iveco 29L11 LWB.. Converted it myself into a Mini camper van.. had it two years now and its only done 60k miles (100k KM) I'm 75 and I do all of the servicing myself. with help from your excellent videos !!! your never too old to learn... thanks.

Hi James, I've subscribed! I have 2005 Iveco ELWB which I use for my band' transportation and It's not had an oil change in over year... it doesn't do much mileage.... about 5,000 per year (that's been my excuse for not changing the oil... but it's wearing a bit thin now - just like the oil!) but I really need to do it and this video is just what I needed. At 63, I too have the body of an Adonis often shown off in a very similar series of vests to yours, much to my children's embarrassment, but the amount of running around I do for them, I don’t care how I look to their trendy friends. Hi James thanks for you videos, very informative for people like me, can I ask, I am struggling getting my sump plug out, 12mm male socket either on wrench or impact won't budge it, any suggestions? Thanks james

Hi Rob as you may be aware from the video mine is an alan key type fit, is yours an external 12mm bolt? If so I had similar issues with a Saab I owned and a garage put a larger bolt onto it spot welded and then took it off that way, it cost me twenty quid and I then replaced it with a better design, hope this helps regards James

Only 4.5 litres? Why only that amount? When I buy oil for my Iveco, the Iveco Dealership always sell me 5 litres + 1 litre and tell me to put almost all of the 6 litres in. From memory capacity is 5.7 litres.

I have had it for 3 years and it is always 4.5, at first I bought 10 litres thinking exactly same but every time left with 5.5 spare I can only think it could be different sump size to one I had before?

Not OP but it's a 2006 DAILY 35C12 LWB. Recommended oil is 5w30. I use Castrol Edge or Magnatec

There is never a disadvantage to and engine flush and new oil, regards James

Great vids, veeeery helpfull. Have you ever replaced the oil pan gasket? I'm not shure if it is possible to do it without removing the engine as there's not much clearence with the chasis down there

Hi Trevor it on my to-do list but then last year the clutch went and they put new gear oil in for me while the clutch was changed so I will have to do it at a later date now
